The picturesque Sainj Valley, nestled alongside the Tirthan Valley near India’s Great Himalayan National Park, is a hidden gem attracting wanderers, hikers, and nature enthusiasts. Lush green fields, quaint cottages, and melodious birdsong create an ambiance of tranquility in this enchanting lowland.

With an average annual temperature of 20.6°C and an annual rainfall of 1,387 mm, Sainj Valley offers varied experiences throughout the year. The months of April and May are ideal for rainless days, while snow lovers can revel in the snow-capped peaks during January and February. Despite occasional downpours and chilly breezes, July to September offers a unique charm for travelers.

Accessible just 45 kilometers from Kullu Valley, Sainj Valley is a heavenly abode nestled in the lap of the Himalayas. Dehuri and Nahi are two breathtaking locations easily reachable by road, offering vast grasslands, lush cedars, and serene temples. Shangarh, often called Mini Gulmarg, provides a peaceful retreat amidst dense pine forests, making it a base point for trekking adventures.

Further into Sainj Valley lies Shainsher, renowned for its ancient five-story temple built around a majestic Deodar tree. Nearby, Taliara boasts a primitive fort dating back to the 7th century, offering a glimpse into the region's rich history.

Panihar, accessible from Thatibir by bus, is another scenic spot known for its panoramic views and a lounge owned by the Himachal Pradesh Forest Department. Whether it's exploring ancient temples, trekking to glacier viewpoints, or simply basking in the valley's natural beauty, Sainj Valley promises a once-in-a-lifetime experience of serenity and breathtaking vistas.

Itinerary

Day 0 : Drive From Delhi To Aut Tunnel (463 Kilometers, 10 Hours)

The group will assemble at the pickup point at 6:30 PM. We’ll meet the trip captains and a small tour briefing session would also be provided.
Afterward, we’ll head towards Sainj Valley which is an offbeat destination nestled in Himachal Pradesh.
Upon our arrival at Aut Tunnel, we’ll switch vehicles from Volvo to Private cabs and then resume our journey.

Day 1 : Sainj Valley sightseeing

Upon our arrival, we will take out Lunch then relaz
Then we’ll head out for our local sightseeing Contains a scenic walk in the Shangarh meadows which is Lush green carpet medows with an sensation view, we will also visit Shangul Mahadev temple there.
In the evening, we’ll spend our time at bonfire together. We will have our dinner followed by an overnight stay.

Day 2 : Trek to Pundrik Rishi Lake (5 Kilometers, 3 Hours)

After early morning breakfast, we’ll head out for a trek to the Pundrik Rishi Lake which is Located in the range of the Great Himalayan National Park.
The whole trail is surrounded by lush green forests of Rhododendrons and Deodar trees. After spending some Beautiful time of lakeside, we’ll start trek down and reach our designated stay.
We will have our Dinner in the evening followed by an overnight stay.

Day 3 : Waterfall Visit | Departure to Delhi

After breakfast, Checkout from stay, We will Visit Bharshangarh waterfall or Rupiraila waterfall Depending upon Road Conditions.
After Spending sometime with the noise of splash , we will head back to Aut to board the bus.
Reach Delhi next day in morning.

Day 4 : Delhi Arrival | Trip Ends

We’ll reach Delhi early in the morning. The group will dissemble and go their separate ways with fond memories of the trip.
